Technical Alerts

You can configure Wavelet technical alerts to be sent as SMS, email, or voice alert messages when communication disruption is detected, or when there are high levels of internal humidity, or when internal battery level thresholds are crossed.

IMPORTANT!

By configuring these alerts, you establish a robust system for monitoring and responding to potential issues, leading to improved system reliability, reduced downtime, and a more efficient overall operation.

Key benefits

Proactive Issue Detection

  • Communication Disruptions: Alerts for communication outages allow for immediate response, minimizing downtime and potential service interruptions
  • High Humidity: Alerts for high humidity levels can prevent damage to equipment, especially in sensitive environments
  • Battery Level Thresholds: Alerts for low battery levels ensure timely battery replacements or recharging, preventing unexpected system failures

Improved Response Times

  • Faster Issue Resolution: Alerts enable quicker identification and resolution of issues, reducing potential downtime and its associated costs
  • Reduced Downtime: By addressing issues promptly, you minimize service disruptions and maintain system availability

Enhanced System Reliability

  • Early Warning System: Alerts provide an early warning system for potential problems, allowing for proactive maintenance and preventative measures
  • Increased Uptime: By proactively addressing issues, you increase the overall reliability and uptime of the system

Flexibility and Customization

  • Multiple Alert Options: The ability to receive alerts via SMS, email, or voice calls provides flexibility in how you receive notifications
  • Tailored Alerts: Customize alerts based on specific events and thresholds to minimize false alarms and focus on critical issues

NOTE: When Wavelet thresholds are crossed, technical alerts are not sent immediately. Instead, they are sent according to the device's configured reporting profile. Each alert has a timestamp that identifies exactly when it was triggered, as shown below.

Alerts Cooldown

You can use the Alerts Cooldown feature to prevent receiving excessive device health alerts. This allows you to set a timer on each alert, avoiding repeated notifications for the same issue.

NOTE: By default, you’ll receive immediate notifications for each new alert.
