Dashboards

Dashboards act as a central platform for visualizing and tracking key performance indicators and field data. They utilize widgets to highlight trends, patterns, and anomalies.

Key benefits

  • Change the dashboard refresh rate: You can speed up or slow down the dashboard refresh rate
  • Set a dashboard’s time coverage: You can change the dashboard’s time period
  • Configure dashboard settings: You can change dashboard settings

  • Widgets provide real-time insights: You can view real-time or near real-time field data updates to react to changing conditions quickly  
  • Interact with widgets: You can move the cursor over the widgets to get granular data (pie chart widgets)
  • Discover pre-built widgets: You can add new widgets from the widget library  
  • Cost Savings: Identify areas for cost reduction and improve resource allocation

Open a dashboard

To open a dashboard:

  1. In the sidebar navigate to Data > Dashboards. A list of dashboards appears.Screenshot 2025-03-04 16.17.37
  2. Click a dashboard in the list to open it.

Create a new dashboard

To create a new dashboard:

  1. In the sidebar navigate to Data > Dashboards.  A list of dashboards appears.
  2. Click the Create New Dashboard button. The Create Dashboard window opens.Screenshot 2025-03-04 16.19.41
  3. Fill the fields in:
    - Enter a meaningful dashboard title
    - Select a sharing type from the list
    - Select a dashboard color palette from the list
    - Select your preferred predefined colors for High, Normal and Low
  4. Click Create. The new dashboard appears with a selection of default widgets.

Change the dashboard refresh rate

To change the dashboard refresh rate:

  1. Open a dashboard.
  2. Choose a refresh frequency from the list.

Change a dashboard’s time period

To change a dashboard’s time period:

  • Choose the date and time range from the calendar and click Set Date

Share a dashboard with members of your account

To share a dashboard with members of your account:

  1. Click the cog to edit the dashboard’s settings. The Update Dashboard window appears.

  2. Set the Sharing Type to Account Shared.

  3. Click Update to save the changes. The dashboard can now be shared with members of your account.

Update dashboard settings

To update dashboard settings:

  1. Open a dashboard.
  2. Click the cog and choose Edit. The Update Dashboard window appears.

  3. Configure the settings.
  4. Click Update to save the changes to the dashboard.

Add new widgets to a dashboard

To add new widgets to a dashboard:

  1. Open a dashboard.
  2. In the dashboard, click the Add New Widget button. The Add New Widget side panel appears.

  3. Select a widget from the list in the side panel. The widget’s configuration window appears.
  4. Configure the widget:
    - Enter a meaningful title for the widget
    - Adjust the widget settings

  5. Click Save. The widget is added to the bottom of the dashboard.
  6. Click the widget’s ellipsis ⋮ and choose Drag from the menu. Reposition the widget by dragging it to a new position in the dashboard.

The library contains a selection of pre-built widgets designed to enhance your dashboard's functionality and visual appeal.
